About The Studio Carlton Operatic Society

Carlton Operatic Society was founded in 1921 and is based in Netherfield, Nottingham. We are affiliated to NODA, and perform at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham. Society members also perform in concert during the closed season. Consistently producing critically acclaimed productions, our most recent production in May 2024 was Kipps - The New Half A Sixpence Musical. Our next production is a collaboration with Nottingham Operatic Society and TheCast in a new production of Les Misérables, coming to the Theatre Royal in May 2025. We will be producing Come From Away in May 2026, with the audition process beginning in Autumn 2025
